PetZone BD is an online pet store serving customers across Bangladesh. When they partnered with Bizcope, the website was getting organic traffic, but its product, category, and brand pages were not getting enough visibility in search.
For an e-commerce website, these pages are important because they connect customers with the products and brands available on the store.
We saw an opportunity to close that gap. Our focus was to improve PetZone BD’s important commercial pages and make them more competitive in search. Over the campaign, organic traffic grew from around 2.5K to ~8K monthly visits, with all 87 tracked keywords reaching the top 5 on Google.

The Challenge: Traffic Was Coming From the Wrong Pages
When we started working with PetZone BD, most of its organic visibility was coming from blog content.
The blogs were bringing visitors, but the important commercial pages were not getting the same visibility. Category pages, brand pages, and product pages were ranking beyond the first page or not appearing for important searches.
For us, the opportunity was clear. PetZone BD needed stronger rankings on the pages that represent its products and categories.
Our SEO Strategy Focused on the Pages That Sell
We rebuilt the SEO program around PetZone BD’s existing commercial structure and worked on it consistently through a bi-weekly process.
We did not stop working on the rest of the website. We worked on the technical foundation, content, internal linking, local SEO, and off-page signals alongside the commercial pages.
We fixed technical issues that could affect crawling and indexing. This included audits, Search Console, sitemaps, redirects, Cloudflare, and filter and sorting URLs.
We improved content across category, brand, and product pages. We also worked on titles, descriptions, headings, keyword clusters, and internal links.
We improved PetZone BD’s local search presence through its Google Business Profile. We also created a dedicated veterinarian and clinic page.
We worked on building the site’s authority beyond its own pages. This included Quora activity, guest post outreach, and relevant placements to strengthen its off-page presence.
The Results: More Traffic and Stronger Commercial Visibility
The numbers tell the story. PetZone BD’s monthly organic traffic increased from roughly 2,500 visits in May 2023 to around 8,000 in May 2024, more than tripling over the period.

In the March 2024 snapshot, all 87 tracked keywords were in the top 5, including 58 keywords in the top 3 and 11 ranking at #1. More importantly, the pages gaining visibility were the commercial pages that could bring visitors closer to a purchase.

Why This SEO Approach Worked
The biggest change was simple: we stopped treating traffic as the only goal.
For an ecommerce business, thousands of visits do not mean much if those visits keep landing on pages that cannot directly support sales.
By focusing SEO on category pages, brand pages, product pages, local visibility, and the technical structure behind them, we helped PetZone BD build search visibility around the parts of the business that matter most.
